[Closed] Problem with my Race Face Chester crankset installation?

I purchased a Race Face Chester crankset to replace a generic one and installed it into a Shimano BB52. What I am worried about is that on the NDS the crank doesn't push all the way into the BB, leaving the white rubber seal? out.

Can anyone tell me based on the pictures if I need a different BB or if the cranks are okay as they are? No play otherwise.

Looks fine to me. That's not a seal, those are spacers for preloading the bearings.

Mine look exactly the same. Glad you did not install the BB from Race Face, as it was rubbish.

They are for adjusting the chain line. They are also available in black if like me you thought the white ones looked rubbish.

There is a manual explaining how they work on the raceface product page.
