Hi. Just replaced my older Yari air spring with a Debonair replacement. All seemed fine until I went to push in my rebound adjuster - the one with no grub screw, just like a push in allen key. But, it does not go in, the hole that is the bottom of the older shaft is not there. Have I bought the wrong thing? I rode it gently, and seems like it is working but didn't ride hard, just in case.
Any thoughts/knowledge?

Have you mixed up the two bolts?

The one in the bottom of the air spring side is solid. The one in the damper side has a bore through it for the rebound adjuster.

After all, you've only made changes on the air spring side, the damper side is unchanged.

I know what I did. I changed the damper shaft. I laughed, was annoyed and relieved all at once. Doh!

You mean the rebound rod, piston and shims were sat on the workbench after you'd finished?

Surely it’s just that you put the wrong bolt in each leg, so the adjuster now fits on the airspring side?

Been there done that the first time I did an airspring change!
