(Probably Silly) Maxle Question

I'm looking to replace an original  "QR" 15mm Maxle with a bolt up jobbie.

My Maxle, unlike later versions, does not have any markings - length, thread pitch, thread length etc.

I'm never sure how these are measured length wise but it would seem that the only bolt up 15mm Maxle for a 100mm spaced fork is 148mm long.

I can measure my current Maxle and I'm guessing the 148mm is from the inner shoulder of the QR through to the end of the thread - does that sound right?
