I heard on the news last week that there may soon be a new entry into the race for the crown.

Reminded by the thread of the year thread.

Must be coming up for its second (or is it third the time flies) Christmas now?

Maybe all new members should have to read this thread before they're allowed to post just so they know what they're letting themselves in for?

I don't want to be at the back though. Is there a fun class in the crown race?

Third birthday is early March I believe.
.
Maybe all new members should have to read this thread

All of it?! They'll be here for days. I remember the excitement when it got to 5 pages.
.

I was thinking about this and wondering when crown races were first developed. The winner at the ancient olympics used to get a laurel wreath to wear on their head, does that count as a crown?

Cerise? I prefer blue, as sung by Joni Mitchell:

Sometimes you can buy them seperately from mftr, other times your LBS might just have something that will fit floating about*

After 35 pages are we anywhere nearer figuring out if it came with a crown race?

What I really want to know is do headsets come with carpets and blinds if bought in Berkshire? Maybe the van driver was in a hurry to deliver a missing crown race and just thought the cyclist would understand that kind of urgency?

Maybe the van driver from Berkshire carpets and blinds was in a crown race, which was why he had to drive so fast and not worry about other road users.
.
What do Mexican carpet fitters use?
Underlay! Underlay!

I have a spare crown race in the tool box if anyones wants it?

a spare crown race in the tool box

shouldn't it be in the spares box? a tool box is for tools, no?

if you had a tool for fixing boxes; probably a box tool, would you keep it in your tool box? I suppose you might have have a box tool box? but then where would you put your box tool box tool? in your box tool box tool box I suppose.

Three year olds don't want cakes like that. They want ones with pictures of TV characters on them. Or footballs. Or cars.

I'd use a headset press, some threaded bar or a vice. Difficult to get the torque with a curry.

Somethings take time to mature geetee.
What did the Thatcher's dead thread do in 3 days anyway, and did it involve cellery? Celary Cellary. Celery. Cellerie. I think I was right first time, cellery.

Are you sure it wasn't a mistake? Maybe a crown race rolled off a shelf when they were packing your headset and no-one noticed.

Your headset came with a crown race so therefore all headsets come with a crownrace?
All dogs have four legs. My cat has four legs, therefore my cat is a dog.

But not an SFN.

Maybe it's an either or thing.

Do any headsets come with both?

If it doesn't come with a SFN can you substitute it with a star nosed mole?

Especially ones with giant exploding nebulae in place of their olfactory organs.

Why is andrewh's cat a dog? Is it because it cannot spell or because it has no nose and therefore smells awful?

I am confused
