I heard on the news last week that there may soon be a new entry into the race for the crown.

Reminded by the thread of the year thread.

Must be coming up for its second (or is it third the time flies) Christmas now?

Maybe all new members should have to read this thread before they're allowed to post just so they know what they're letting themselves in for?

I was thinking about this and wondering when crown races were first developed. The winner at the ancient olympics used to get a laurel wreath to wear on their head, does that count as a crown?

What I really want to know is do headsets come with carpets and blinds if bought in Berkshire? Maybe the van driver was in a hurry to deliver a missing crown race and just thought the cyclist would understand that kind of urgency?

I'd use a headset press, some threaded bar or a vice. Difficult to get the torque with a curry.

Are you sure it wasn't a mistake? Maybe a crown race rolled off a shelf when they were packing your headset and no-one noticed.

We've tried, but it's a complicated issue and we are still giving it much consideration and some celery

If Scotland becomes independent will we have to split the crown?
