Hi my 717 on pro2 wheel is 9 months old, 1 month ago I decided to give the bearings a quick clean and grease after a couple of rides the smooth feel of the bearings has gone and it feels rough and tight what have I done wrong :-S
Define "Clean & grease"...
One of the bearings in my front seized solid after a wash. I put a new ones in, but flicked out the rubber seals & packed both sides with grease first.
Not sure what you mean by 'smooth and light' - when mine went quiet I got worried and asked for help on here - and got good service advice. Now they are loud and clicky and lovely again 🙂
I took the caps off which took ages to get off then wiped the bearings clean and put some new grease on then put the caps back on which took abit of force to go on
