So I've rebuilt a pair of hope pro 2 evo's on some stans rims. During the rebuild I noticed the alu freehub was cracked so it was replaced with a new steel one from hope, new bearings at the same time. It's all back together now and ready to go back on the bike, when I've fitted it though there seems to be a 1/2mm wobble in the rear hub when it's fitted to the frame. I've had it apart again but can't seem to find anything wrong, all the spacers etc match to the exploded diagrams I've found. The end cap on the drive side is a bit loose, would that cause it?
Had this problem. Swapped the 2 end caps about and this fixed it
Have you remembered the washer that goes between the freehub bearing and the inner hub bearing? Done that once or twice.
boots, if I knew you in real life I'd buy you a beer.
Cheers! Having one anyway. No idea if they are supposed to be like this
