Easy question for the hive on the Monday morning. Planning a new lick of paint and graphics on a Prince Albert. At the moment it is battleship grey and as I look out of the window the sky is battlehsip grey 🙁

Going to use Triple S in Shipley, Leeds for the paint.

Am thinking a candy red. Other suggestions for colour, good or bad, welcome.

I wouldn't go spraying a prince albert without consulting your gp first. You might get an infection.

if the frame influences the sky, can you go for a blue please.

Candy red is nice (but a bit safe). Had my Intense done in CR when I 1st got it 2nd hand and when the paint started getting a bit tired I chose a slightly different, bolder colour 🙂

Azure blue with a ball of screaming yellow then...

..have been thinking of a lime green, had a mini in something called 'interchange yellow that was fairly zingy!

It's RAL1016 (sulphur yellow) but has an added gold flake to give a bit of sparkle. The guys who did mine have a few different flakes that they can just mix in. It's quite subtle but looks fab in the sun..

Had my Turner done at Triple S and they only have one yellow, unless you want to pay for a special powder @ £100 plus. They did a very good job, but would have it laquered if I was doing it again. Bit more robust / resistant to damage. They have a colour chart online Btw 🙂

Cheers Dave - only seen a vague picture with colours on for the triple S site, planning to go to them based on the recommendations. Like your yellow, so will go with that and a laquer finish.

Gold flake is nice, so I'll ask about that as a possibility as well. have soemthing similar on my trek, but it's lost most of the glint (I don't clean it).

I also need to make sure I don't spend more on the paint than the actual frame...
