I bought a set of the prime wheels in their final days.
I'm fairly sure thay sent the wrong NDS end cap for a 142mm bolt thru wheel - it's about 3mm short.
I might be able to ask the new CRC for help, but is there any reason I can't just very carefully cut down the QR end cap which does look like the right size?
Assuming the qr end cap is 9mm internal diameter and the bolt thru, isn't? If so, the thru-axle.wont fit...
I was going to cut the top 9mm section off and drill out to the thru-axle diameter.
I'd check the endcaps to see if they are the same as others. Can't remember what prime ones fit Vel hubs and vice versa.
Well, that was fun but did not work. It's a couple of mm too short.
My machinist (eldest son, has watched all the yt videos and is now an expert) says he can make one from some steel bar.
