I don't normally get involved in this kind of thing but this really has annoyed me,

Double standards on display and also this magazine is telling people to base their vote on the fact that labour will make them add £2200 of equipment to a truck which will help stop hgv/ pedestrian/ cyclist accidents.
Hmmm, Those two videos trying to portray the company in a bad light, I don't think they achieved their goal.
The bus lane has times on them, do we know if the wagon is inside of these times or not - NO
The pass was close but by no means any closer than some of the 'tards' I see on a daily basis.
The red light - Do we know how far away the stop line was, I noticed the lights had changed to green but the highway code says you can proceed if it is safe to do so if you have already crossed the line. Given that none of the cars had set off it wasn't exactly dangerous.
Its all tit for tat, and tarring a single company for the actions of maybe one driver is not fair at all.
If you was in charge of a haulier firm, would you want to pay £2200 for each truck you had. People vote on what affects them, not everyone else.
😯
Do you work for them or something?
o we know if the wagon is inside of these times or not
No one else is in them and it seems reasonable, to assume they were - can you prove otherwise?
As for the second its a yellow box and given how long it took to get across your account is beyond ridiculous.
Did that look safe to you?
You would be fine doing that on your driving test then?
People vote on what affects them, not everyone else.
Speak for yourself I tend to vote on what is best for the majority not just out of self interest.
So happy to carry on killing people as low cab trucks which are safer for thier drivers and other road users cost a bit more . To be honest the campain could be a reason to vote Labour.
Low cab trucks don't cost a bit more. They're £250,000+.
But the other safety features, they should get on with it.
No matter what safety features you fit to any vehicle, its ultimately down to the training of the person behind the wheel steering it and making it move.
Responsibility must also be attached to the cyclists who ignore large vehicles, stay in their blind spots and filter on the left or right when trucks are turning.
What is needed is all the current affairs programes to feature articles on cyclists, town and city riding, speed awareness and lots more.
But saying that a very weak and pathetic headline from what used to be a quality magazine, probably aimed at raising attention to their current sub offer.
