Is it possible to get a presta chuck to adapt a schrader valved inflator? The thing I would like would have a quick release presta chuck that would screw into the existing schrader adaptor end, but I'm struggling to find anything that would explicitly do this.
I can find the adaptor rings to allow a schrader head to attach to a presta valve but would rather not have to screw the inflator on and off.
Much obliged (and happy to accept that my Google ability is useless)!
I have one in the garage and one in the camper. Came with the kit on an Aldi portable compressor. Just pushes onto the valve
Search for inflator head on eBay. I've used these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143216479751?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=crqJXL9BRUG&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=Qnx8dS9HS8O&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Just cut off the original and fit it. I've used it on Makita inflators and the airline without issue.
I had this exact query a few weeks ago and got poo pooed
Topeak sell their track pump hoses as spare parts
I bought a Topeak smart head, and took the valve out of an old ripped tube and fitted it into the hose.
My DeWalt inflator now has a double length hose and works on the car and bikes with no modification or switching parts around.
Good plan, cheers!
The answer is 'yes'.
I ended up with a rather spendy but high quality Presta push-on / pull-off chuck that has a male thread at the end, same as on a Schrader valve. No bent presta valve stems since !
I got it to go onto the female threaded end of a Bosch portable bsttery electric compressor pump.
Or even more spendy but lovely is their 'Hiro' chuck.
I got one with a Michelin footpump from Halfords, screws into the threads of any Schrader pump and fits super snug on the presta valve with zero leakage.
Use a presta valve cap with the tip cut off - or am I misunderstanding the question ?

is what you need.
It was also what I need when my basket was £1 below the free delivery threshold.
An old thread, I know, but I’ve been looking for exactly the same thing for my new Bosch inflator.
This seems to be the solution: -
