Ordered a SRAM GX Eagle drivechain a while back for my Trek, that I haven't fitted yet.
Looking at a pressfit bottom bracket that is compatible with Dub cranks (Needs to be PF92 to fit my frame).
The only option appears to be SRAM DUB pressfit bottom bracket.
Anyone using a BB from another manufacture such as Hope, Enduro, Etc.
If the SRAM is good enough, I will go with that, but over the last year had multiple GXP bottom brackets wear pretty quickly, so a little wary of them
My Kona came with a SRAM bb that is still fine after 900 miles so I’d not hesitate to get another.
I do have an Uberbike version in my spares but can’t comment on it’s quality as I haven’t used it yet since the SRAM one hasn’t failed
Recently bought a Wheels Manufacturing threadfit BB from Sigma to convert a road PF30 to 24mm spindle for shimano crankset. Its properly lovely. If you look at their (wheels mfg) site you can enter your spec and it'll tell you which bb you need. They seem to do sram dub compatible.
I’ve got the wheels manufacturing dub bsa threaded bb and so far it’s doing better than the sram dub one I had that didn’t last particularly well. Although I previously had a threaded dub bb from sram that lasted ok. No idea why one lasted so much better than the other.
On their website they do list a bb86 one for dub cranks - says it does pf86/92

I got my local Certini / specialized concept store to order mine in.
Wheels Manufacturing products are available from Madison dealers or Freewheel. All very well engineered and the solution for many problems. Bearings are replaceable.
Rather than SRAM's offering which is pants, the best thing is to get a pair of flanged bearings such as these ones on the Wheels mfg site.
My current bike started with the aforementioned SRAM BB, I pulled it out because the creaking was driving me nuts and fitted a Black Bearing BB similar to the example in the link.
I my experience sram dub bb’s are a bit rubbish. First one I had last about 300 winter miles. I have replaced a threaded one and a press fit with Uberbike ones. All good so far ( probably 500 miles on both).

The one on my CX bike is fine after a years worth of racing, jet washing and general complete lack of care, they're dirt cheap, take about 15 minutes to change - just grease them properly and last well enough, so just go with it
I've also had very good life from the SRAM offering (I'm as surprised as anyone) with a dub crank in a pf92 frame. Not sure on miles but currently have 18 months of decent use on a MTB in all weathers.
Thanks all.
I did see the wheels mfg ones coming up in search's, but wasn't sure of the quality of them.
Will defo look into them now.
Also seem some Enduro bearing ones that nice work as well.
The Hope one is just 2 flanged Enduro bearings with a couple of spacers.
I use them on my Yeti ARC which is the same standard as yours but with Hope cranks, get decent life out of them.
