I was out on my road bike for the first time in an age this morning, it's a planet X N2A.
I've noticed a creaking, groaning noise, mainly at low RPM when applying a bit of pressure, ie slow climbs in the small ring, climbing out of the saddle, etc. The noise seemed to settle down towards the end of the ride, but I seem to remember it happening last time, any ideas? Is there anyway of greasing these BB's? Do they come to bits in the same way as a Hollowtech crankset, any idiots guides that have come in handy?
You can pull the cranks/axle out of course, but the creak is never the bearings themselves but usually their fit in the frame.
Is there a fix for this Al? In not very good with this modern stuff.
