Right, when refitting the rear shock today I realised that the non-drive side bottom bracket bearing is seized, drive side one feels perfect.
When I get a new one, do I need to replace both sides? Can I just do the knackered one? It's a Shimano, so as there's no handed thread are the bearings identical so I have another spare bearing if the non drive side fails again?

Fine to replace just one.

Cool, cheers. And are they the same both sides? 'research' (well, looking in here at threads complaining about them) suggests it tends to be the non-drive side that fails.
