I'm looking around for some prescription cycling glasses. (giving up on contacts). I've seen lots of sites that offer great deals on cycling glasses with a prescription insert. But i'm really after a pair without an insert so the front lens is the prescription part. I find the insert and my everyday glasses don't give me enough peripheral vision to ride confidently. (Thats why i used contacts for years). As cycling glasses have much larger lenses i really want that part only to be the prescription part. Hope that makes sense?
Other than Oakley's which are way out of my budget does anyone know of any other brands and where to get them? My usual optician, Specsavers only do goggles.

Ordered Thursday, prepaid box arrived Friday, posted back to them on Saturday, and arrived back today - but I wasn't in so I'm picking them up tomorrow. £45 for prescription transition lenses - hopefully they're as good as others say. Superb service so far.
