Any suggestions?
Have removed bike shield (pre-cut protective film) from downtube and now want to replace but cannot fully remove old adhesive; have used meths, white spirit & isopropyl alcohol (IPA) - but not all together - with limited success; IPA is the film manufacturer recommendation.
I can't be the only person who's had this problem - or can I?

You need heat. Use a hairdryer.
