Watched it on the plane last week. Made me embarrassed to ride a bike. Who ever came up with the premise has obviously never ridden a fixie, or understood why. Some good trials riding though.

I thought this was going to be about the number of STW Premium subscribers since the big hitter clearout. 😥

I liked it... But I'm known to like shockingly bad films. 😳 I've also never ridden a fixie and have no intention on doing so.

Saw it on a 23hr flight last week. Perfectly acceptable in-flight movie. Ludicrous plot, fun riding, moderately cringeworthy - would I watch it if I wasn't incarcerated in a metal tube with incessantly crying babies? No.

Watched it a few weeks ago, bit of ridiculous fun. No one took it seriously did they? Remember, brakes are death...

I tried to approach it with an open mind rather than as a cyclist but it's just idiotic. I did watch the whole thing though 😳

The Yak would have had that parcel dropped off and be on his second coffee by the time that courier had hopped his first kerb. I think the STW mods misunderstood the Yaks prowess on this forum.

The Yak was misunderstood.
If someone wants to give me a loan of the film I'll pass it on to The Yak and relay his opinion.

I quite liked it thought it was a bit of "easy watching" sort of thing you can just put on but not really have to concentrate on to follow the plot.

I spend too long on planes, and have an unerring knack of choosing awful films to watch when there. I shall look this up!

🙂

I also caught up with The Hunger Games (could have been good but let down badly by a director who wimped out), Battleship (big dumb fun, perfect long-haul viewing) and series four of Mad Men (which got me started on the G&Ts).
