Obviously the answer to every question about brilliant family MTB and climbing destinations is always Briancon, but it's too far away.
So, where should we go for about a week with good climbing, good MTB and not too scorchio in these Climate 2.0 times?

Lac blanc area has 2 bike parks, good food, lots of hills for walking
We really liked the smaller, quieter feel of Le Clusaz.
Beautiful place.
No idea what the climbing is like mind.
Also remember enjoying the bike park at Lac Blanc too. Still got the t-shirt.
Vosges mountains.....?
Three bike parks there. Although small they're pretty good. La Bresse, Lac Blanc and Markstein.
Lots of very good natural riding there, too.
