I have this chainring on my new Creo SL which is coming up for 500km since purchase a few months back. Was reading about the need for the chain to align with the teeth as per a little diagram stamped on the back of the ring so thought I’d have a look out of curiosity. So mine was half a link out of alignment... I have put it right and it does indeed seem quieter on the stand (weather too foul to ride). Close examination of the ring shows wear on the prominent front edges of the teeth which may or may not be down to the chain not meshing as it should.
Ride and forget about it or ask the lbs to have a look/replace ring and or chain ?
Forget about it...500km in and it has been working throughout that time. You know now for the replacement.
thanks, will keep an eye on it.
Just my view... suspect others have different views on this.
