Trying to fit these to my deviate.

Praxis m30-thru BSA BB, Lyft gen 2 cranks.

Deviate requires one small spacer inside the right hand BB cup to get a 52mm chain-line.

To get the chainring (3mm offset boost) to line up with the idler pulley it requires, as per the M30 BB guide, a 3mm spacer / BB top cap. However, if I put this on, the bottle bracket binds when torqued up (fine when loose).

If I remove the 3mm spacer, the crank doesn't align with the idler and the arms catch on the frame. If I remove the pre-bb spacer, the crank arms catch on the frame. A 2mm does the same thing except now the driveside arm won't clear the idler cover.

Any wizards with any grand ideas?

Don't know Deviate bikes or the crankset tbh but, boost and chainline issues are normally centred around the chainring.

Are you sure you've got the right one?

From the LYFT site-

COMPATIBILITY
BB - The LYFT cranks use our M30-THRU family of bottom brackets or other brand BB's that have 30mm Drive Bearing and a 30mm NonDrive Bearing. M30-THRU BB's HERE

DM1X RINGS - This Gen1 LYFT uses the 3-Bolt Direct Mount interface and use the below guide shows the offsets/chainline. Our WAVE TECH MTN RINGS HERE

G1-LYFT with 3mm Offset Ring = 49mm Chainline
G1-LYFT with 0mm Offset Ring = 52mm Boost Chainline
