Whats best to do ? pop old out and replace bearings or replace the lot.
Only been in 6 months !!!
I'd avoid the cheap pooh or you'll get all grisly.
Just replace the bearings with angular contact ones in case your set up is putting excess side load on them.
if you replace the bearings then you lose the warranty but then on the other hand, with knackered bearings (which aren't a warrantiable item) the BB is useless anyway.
They can easily be pushed out with a socket drift, new ones of whatever quality pushed in, and the system is excellent so well worth the effort overall. I've done that twice with a BB that is now about 5 years old (original and then 2 sets of aftermarket)
gah, 40mpg urswine! 🤬
Cheers guys , will pop some new ones in. Will try those angular contact ones .
