Does anyone know if there is a power meter that can be transferred between bikes easily? I like many sane men have many many bikes but dont want to buy a power meter for each of them.
Power meter pedals?
Assioma duo pedals are good - reliable.
You can get the spindles and fit an spd body if you wanted to use them on the mtb.
Unless all your bikes have shimano HTII cranks or identical SRAM the same length then only option is the pedal.
I run mainly Shitmano HT2 in 172.5mm and swap the single sided meter from bike to bike as is my whim... Zero issues.
Assioma uno was the easiest. My road bikes all have one RHS pedal and I flipped the LHS meter between bikes. But a nice Park pedal Allan key.
The battery failed after four years and Favero have offered a new spindle at a 50% discount to a new meter. I’m happy with that. They are renowned for their customer service.
I used to switch an HT2 Stages power meter with pedal still attached. That wasn’t so hard either. I killed three of their meters in the UK weather. So now I like Favero.
I have Garmin xc200m pedals. They have been faultless, unlike the 5 stages power meters I’ve had fail.
