Does such a thing exist?  Something you can swap from one bike to the other?

Do Power Pods work on MTB?

I was looking at a Power Pod for my fat bike, but there are just far to many variables, like tyre pressure, tyre compound etc...

I ask PP about  the issue with different tyre pressures, their response was to have different profiles set up depending on what psi you're running!!

I have found this, and if it works, its what I will be going for -  https://www.iqsquare.com

I found a vid of some bloke riding with a stages and a power pod on a cyclepath and then on the grass next to it.  on the cyclepath they matched up fairly well, on the grass the powerpod was hopeless.  Seems like it's a no-go for MTBing.

Best option for MTB seems to be to wait until I am ready to upgrade to top end carbon cranks, then get the Quarq cranks instead.  'Only' costs £300 in that situation.  But you still need one for each bike.

IQ power meter when released. This is not pedal dependent but is inserted between crank and pedals. A bit like Limits but may work. Otherwise it’s swap crank and pedals.

Not so sure about B.B. based crank meters off road. SRM will swap easily, but you’ll have hearing issues.
