Hi,
After my last recent post about powdercoat clear, I would like to know if it is routine or even possible to powdercoat a frame in more than one coat.
Can you powdercoat a number of coats to build up layers like you can with paint. I have had one frame in the past coated, it was a single coat only, although fairy hard, it looked as though it should of had two coats to add durability.
Anyone ?

yes u can have more than one coat it just makes it more thicker. some powder is poo and ive done some jobs in the past where it has tacken 3 or 4 coats to get the job looking ok. depends on the make and colour of the powder.
