If you can travel fast line in Preston very good. Did hard tails for me for £30 a go. Powder coating usually takes them a week. Nice people too.

Colourtec in Hindley Green did a great job of my frame, and are pretty cheap too. £30-40 I seem to remember

2nd that, he did my Turner for £70.

I'm just about to get my Kona Unit frame and forks done.

Mate of mine is also going there for his 2 x old Raleigh Road Frames.

Really honest guy, turned my Turner around in 2 days!!

yip he has a range of colours, not as many as Argos though, but then he doesn't charge £100 plus

Lots of coaters in the Preston area. I make 2 or 3 steel frames a year and have tried a few different places with variable results. I've now given up on my usual supplier - the guy that understood mtbs no longer works there and the last job was just awful (full of runs and enormous drips that they hadn't even noticed).

I've since done a bit of research and will be using Fastline for my next frame. Their website gallery also shows some good bike work (Moulton frame and a very impressive chrome siver bmx).
