ordered a rear MTB wheel off Amazon last year, it was delivered in a large black bag, with skewer sticking trough sides of bag, use a cardboard box remove skewer and tape to rim, add extra packaging to cover the spindle incase they poke through the packaging.

Thank you, I'm pretty good at wrapping things protectively. More interested in which companies are couriering or delivering a wheelset that Ive sold and need to post.

Paisley freight have a ‘bike wheels’ option. £17.50 plus whatever insurance you want to buy. No problems for me.

I used Hermes a few months back. Packed in proper wheel box I had from a previous purchase.

Sent mine via Parcelforce for about £12 - which was lower than the walk in price at the Post Office plus cashback via Topcash Back

Parcel2go for me selecting whichever option suits the value and period of delivery I need at the time.

I’ve used Paisley Freight and it was fine but the courier that came to collect was one of the big names so it was clearly outsourced by Paisley.

Walk in price when MrsTH tried was around £150 (not a typo, one hundred and fifty pounds). Cashier offered to do it for 15% off when she politely declined...
