Has anyone posted forks using Collect+?
I've seen it as an option on ebay ads. When I went to the Collect+ site though, they list 60cm as the maximum length. Do they make exceptions if the other dimensions are less than listed (i.e. by volume) or is it the same as Royal Mail?

I use city link. It costs about £11 including insurance to cover the forks value.

i use collectplus, shipped 100+ parcels - never ever put the true dimensions in, always select the Light 0.2kg £4.89 Economy Service (usually deliver within 24 hours if they are collected same day, occasionally 48) and ive shipped bikes this way

never had an issue

That will come back and bite you if you need to claim though, been there and got fought out, not by them but another

Parcel force has £200 insurance included so often a cheaper option than topping up insurance cover
