Any recommendations?
Its a Garmin Edge 1030 battery pack if it makes any difference, so not sure if that's a powerbank, a stand-alone battery or a battery with/within a device.
It comes with a mains charger, is new and in original packaging.
I've looked at RM and DHL so far and just get confused with all the ifs and buts..
It's hard to keep up these days.
But, should be any courier company that doesn't use planes - even within the UK.
So collect plus was the one I used to use. But I suspect they got gobbled up by another courier who had battery restrictions.
Yeah, it's complicated!
I posted an old laptop with the battery recently. Royal Mail were 'OK' with that provided the battery was fitted in the device for which the battery was originally designed. The main concern is shorting of the terminals during transport and any resulting fire.
IF the battery is in it's original packaging I would have thought that that was acceptable simply because the original manufacturer would have also had the same concerns and ensured that the battery was safe for transport????
