Don't use Hermes.

I usually resort to Parcelfarce, may not be the cheapest though.

Ive used Senditnow.com which is parcel force rebranded several times and they've done exactly what I paid for.

Wouldn't touch Hermes with a bargepole after their latest cock up for me.

Same - wouldn't touch hermes. After watching 2 of their drivers throw parcels around in the back of a van for 5mins. I wouldn't use them for any expensive items now.

Parcel force will be £12.99 (48hr) with £100 insurance if you take it to a postoffice. You may be able to find it cheaper online (using send it now or similar) and then drop it off at your local post-office.

+1 senditnow.com
Convenient to be able to dump it at the PO

I used Parcel Force via interparcel.com last week, think I paid just over £15, insured to £150 on a next day service.

Whatever you do, don't use ParcelHero. They are just a middle man and I got stuffed big style when I got some of the parcel details slightly wrong.
