Am i right in thinking that royal make sting you for posting say a 720x 50mm package.If so who do you use.

I use Hermes - tad under a fiver for tracked and insured postage.

It can go as a medium parcel with Royal Mail as long as it's tubular shaped, under 90cm in length and under 8cm diameter.

myhermes, £2.69 for under 1kg with £50 compo, - add £1 for a signature on delivery, don't put in the true dimensions, no one cares or checks

+ 1 for Myhermes. Used them a good bit recently for the heavier / bulkier stuff.

Once you are set up its so easy to arrange a delivery, they can collect from your door too for an extra 20p.

If you add a 'safe place' you don't even need to be in when they collect 🙂
