Genuinely shocked how few photos of bikes I have. So I'm going to post one I no longer have because some thieving so-and-so nicked it. I miss it...

I've been through a few bikes over the last couple of years, but I think the Five is a keeper. Less sure about the FF29 though.

no, from somewhere in Manchester the name escapes me, but ive had it a month or so

will be monday, certainly tuesday before it gets rode, work/family first

@Dirtyrider - What garmin mounts that?

http://www.racewaredirect.co.uk/#/shop/4559567829/Garmin-Edge-Stem-Mount/6449974

wanted something neat to save strapping a mount to the stem or bars, not keen on out fronts on the MTB

I should really get some better pictures of them both at some point soon, but…

The Meta 55:

And just for fun, the same bike a year ago (it changed a little…)

The Inbred:

Hoping to build up a full XTR titanium hard tail once I've graduated too. I better get a good job 😀

New bike
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]

Old bikes. But just as good.

1991 Dave Lloyd Beez Kneez
Fillet brazed 653.

[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]

1994 Kona Kilauea
I bought this exact bike in 94. 20 years old next year and still amazing to ride.

[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]

1992 GT Tequesta
My first MTB.

[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]

Bought as NOS Frameset, 1991 Haro Extreme.
31.8 bars and stem 22 years ago. 😀
They are NOS Haro Wing Bar and Stem, as was specced from new.

[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]

And this one being restored. One of the first 100 DMR Trailstars, to see if they could sell an all round jump and play and XC bike in the UK in 1997. I think they proved they could!
Blooming labour of love this, you try finding a NOS DMR saddle and decals! Needed dropouts re-manufacturing, loads of work before paint.
Bead blasted 98 Bombers, hand mirror polished.

robdob - what do you think of your Haro? I saw a yellow one like that on Craigslist recently and was tempted as it was only $125 IIRC. But the frame looked like it was much too big for me, though. Now I'm itching for a bike with elevated chainstays...

It rides very very well, brilliant in the air but front end is very harsh, no give at all with the Haro Wing bars and those straight forks. A slightly different set up would improve things.

Absolutely loving the number of Nobbly Nicks on bikes here given there are so many haters out there.

Some really lovely bikes on this thread, especially the 1994 Kona Kilauea, the Dave Lloyd and the Haro.

That Dave Lloyd is gawjuss!!! And that Kona too. So many memories of early 90's bikes and I wish I hadn't got rid of my GT Tequesta or my Zaskar.

Anyone got a Muddy Fox with a rear wheel disc on? Would bloomin make day.

Blooming labour of love this, you try finding a NOS DMR saddle and decals!

When i was rawing my Drone i contacted DMR asking if they had an old metal headbadge i could buy. They didn't but Ollie kindly sent me a load of Trailstar sticker sets just like yours (blue, red and black). Might be worth popping them an email to see if they've any left.

DMR did sort me out with them in the end, I think they said I got the last mk1 set. So I did a very high res scan of them and sent the scans to GilM at the Bike Shed who does repro decals so he can do them for anyone else who needs them.

That [s]Kilauae[/s] Kilauea is just lovely!

Fixed that for you...... 😉

It's the one bike I will never sell, unless I'm destitute. It rides so nicely it's just not believable. Did a ride in the Surrey hills and it thrashed the singletrack - only problem was the modern bikes were holding me up.

Most fun bike I've owned. Close second is the charge blender but this can actually be ridden for miles. Covered 1,900 miles since Easter on it. Only thing I'd sell it for is the Ti version.

Where do you live Ska-49? What's your shed security like? 😉

I do like the look of that Explosif. Even with the silly in-betweener wheels. 😉

I had a 92 Explosif. No bike has ever rode as well as that one. Stupidest decision I ever made selling it.
