Any one have any ideas what rear adapter I might need for a 2015 whyte g-150 frame so I can run a 180mm rotor??? I tried bolting the caliper (shimano deore)directly to the frame and the disc didn't fit.

I cannot find anywhere online which tells me what the "standard" size is on the frame but i would guess 160mm does this mean I just need a 180mm adapter? Ta

"Normal" is 160mm so a +20mm or 180mm adapter should do it

Ok thanks, wish this stuff was either standard, or made clear in service manuals or something, for the mechanically inept like myself.

There are standards but lots of companies ignore them or create a nice new one.

The standard postmount on your bike frame is probably either 160mm or 180mm

Shimano 180mm adaptors are +20mm
Shimano 203 adaptors are +43mm

SRAM now just market their adaptors as +20 or +40 (because SRAM rotors are 200mm rather than 203mm). Much clearer IMHO. Apart from the rotor size thing :/

Thanks for the replies, I just dug out an old avid +20mm front adapter which seems to fit the shimano caliper and 180mm rotor surprisingly!
