Pair of pair of wheels not boost

But I think they can be end capped to any standard?

£225 down from £800

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/hope-custom-enduro-mtb-wheelset/rp-prod212198

Which I think is less than the hubs

Looks like they have fronts too

Sorry if I missed some reason these are an odd standard?

Dammit, these fit the cheap CR Pikes I have on my Ribble hardtail.
Money spent.

Pick xd and there are boost hubs available.

£800 is misleading but £225 for a wheel set is less than the hub price.

Not even Hope wheels! they are Hope hubs built into Raceface rims

I was tempted until I saw the rim spec. Had a set of arcs on my alpine & they were made of cheese. The worst sort of American plastic formed cheese in little plastic wrappers.

A hope pro 4 free hub is now £85!!! So £225 for a wheelset is a good price.

Just picked up a pair of the boost Hope Pro'4 on 35mm WTB rims. Buy them individually and you can apply the £10 off twice making them £250 for the pair. Blooming bargain imo.

I see threads everywhere about how the ARC40 rims are rubbish, yet I have a pair of the original Easton ones laced to Hope Pro 4 hubs that I rattled around on over 3 different bikes.

At 120Kg + bike, they have put up with all sorts of riding on both hardtail and full suss, using 2.8" tyres. Not needed truing once, although I did redish the front myself a few times going from boost to normal and back.

I'd but a set if I didn't have some already. Great price.

Damn, that's a great price but looks like they're out of the Boost fronts now.

I currently have the same rims though and they're the reason I need new wheels. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the PSA though!

Don't think that was an option before and they've stopped the £10 clearance discount....

Went out for a first ride on these yesterday...v nice 😁

Easy to set up tubeless (used Specialized 2bliss rim strips), relatively light for the width, look nice and stealthy (subtle rim graphics). Nowt to complain about 👍

Got some half price Hope floating rotors from Balfes Bikes to go with them too. Nice.

I had a pair of the wtb i35 as a stop gap set of wheels while my carbon ones were being built up - they were great wheels for the few weeks I had them, ended up selling  them on eBay for almost the same cost.

The wiggle eBay account sold a hope front wheel at auction for £200 about a month ago - you could buy the same wheel at the time on its own for £110 on their website.

I jumped across to wiggle, and have just bought one of the hope custom rear wheels, with that plus rim but Pro4 hub, for £129.99. I have a spare, new ex481 rim so the logic being swop this straight away and sell the rim on. Entire Wheel is less than the hub price, bizarre!!

£170 for a pair now, rear wheel is £99.00.

That is a bit crazy. I mean, yeah the arc rim is fairly crap and denty, but on the other hand the hope rims are pretty bloody chonky so it's filling a different demand I reckon. And at the price, you could ride them for a few months and if you do dent the crap out of the rim buy something stronger and still be doing well.

I was about to be annoyed, having bought at £225. But there's only XD freehubs left, so less annoying 😁

Only non boost left though, so hardly the deal of the century.

Dunno, Hope are very easy to convert with end-caps.

Was perfect for me though, as I never drank from the boost Kool-aid 😁

My son and I are both non-boost! Sometimes it pays to be retro…😀
