Fun isn't it.
I just had a weekend there, but you could ride for a week and still only see half of it. Two things to remark upon.
1) Respect to anyone who can ride the black run at Morgins.
2) I am really not sure about the trend amongst young French ladies who were wearing knee and elbow protectors, full crash-jackets and hotpants.

Thanks.

This is not a new trend. Our European cousins have been mixing stretchy, revealing lycra with rented body armour for years.

And long may it continue!
As well as the Morgins black I'd add the one under Super Morzine. Rode the top and thought “this is ok” until it got steeper. And steeper. Bailed to the road in the end!

Shame. The section from the road down is immense and less full on than the top
Oh well! Should have stuck it out but was making a bit of a fool of myself trying to slide down sections on my arse as French school kids popped over my head.
Trying to work out how long I've been visiting the area- OMG it's since last century!
And everytime I visit I still find great stuff to ride.
In Reims with my wife and our two boys, heading home from 9 days of Les Gets / PdS.
Couple of days on the road bikes, and the rest off chairlifts on MTBs.
Great fun, though really cafe cruising for us.
The 15 year old is the quickest now.

I always like to check the lift line in Chatel, that seems to be where the fashionistas hang out.
One year it will be jeans, sleevless vest and a neck brace, the next year matchy pyjamas, last time it was DH pants, baggy cotton Tshirt and chest/back protector worn on the outside.
I dont know who decides what is "in" or where they announce it but literally half the people there (and all the quick ones) will conform to the annual dress code.
