Heading there shortly - trail bike or DH bike? Heard there are dirt jumps and DH stuff but no idea of what to expect? Ta...

There is a quarry with a lot of dirt jumps, ranging from small to pretty large, there is a 4X track, with lots of (generally rollable) big jumps, there are a lot of short DH trails, some better maintained than others, some have some reasonably big gaps/drops, some don't. Think there is also a longer XC loop, although I've never ridden it.

You'd probably have more fun on a general trail bike, especially for jumps and 4x, plus you can ride back up. Haven't been for a while but it was never particularly rocky.
