So, I treated my 2015 Revelation solo air fork to a top - toe service.

When I installed the lowers I went to put the 5ml of 15wt oil in, but 7ml got injected in by accident.

On my second ride out with the fork the left side (air shaft side) popped it's dust seal.

Would the 2ml of extra oil cause this? or maybe an O-ring (all replaced). Anything else?

I'm gonna drop the lowers tomorrow and inspect & reassemble.

Ta

I doubt it, more likely air leaking out of the air spring into the lowers.

Probably an easy fix,  most likely an o-ring has popped out when you've put it back together.

Did you compress the forks before installing the bolt at the bottom of the fork? If not there will be too much pressure in the lowers pushing the seal out.
