Ok, not strictly true as I've ridden Whinlatter a few times. However, I fancy a route in the Lakes next Friday. I'll be solo and am coming back from a broken elbow, so what fitness I did have is shot, so I don't want anything too remote or with savage steep climbs (appreciating that there will be some, as it is the Lakes). I'm thinking Grizedale, bit of TNF and a bit natural so I can get a couple of hours in.
Is this a sensible plan or am I missing something more obvious? Anything from Ambleside could be a goer as I can leave the family there whilst I ride.
Grizedale should be right up your street.
Email me if you want a gpx.

So my metalwork from my broken elbow is working loose. I'll save these routes do when I'm better.
