Considering one of these for road and track rides. Obviously the 29er can run discs and bigger tyres, but if sticking with Vs / cantis and 1.5" tyres how does the ride quality compare? Is there any benefit to going with the Pomp if the ride is say 2/3 road 1/3 track. Or is there really nothing in it and might as well go for 29er with its greater flexibility?
The new Inbred 29ers are disc only I think
I have had both. I think they are VERY differant bikes. The pomp is great on the road for nipping in and out of traffic. The Inbred loves single track and long rides.
If its mostly road and no off road I would get a pomp with some hybrid tyres.
