We had four of these made up a few years ago and are still going strong. They are padded so offer protection between bikes

I have both the evoc bag, which is used for putting muddy or wet bikes in the car, as well as the evoc rug which is used for holidays where umpteen bikes get chucked in a van.
Both do their job well enough.
