I see these are available with a winter lining and earpieces but I was wondering how ventilated they are for the rest of the year. Any experience?

We have a top end Receptor doo da in the emporium and it has the ear bits. I am thinking about one myself as it will be handy for skiiing in feb as well as riding in the winter.
