Sure I read somewhere a while ago that both were pretty much the same....although now I cant find the info to confirm.

Are they both fairly similar. Maybe the main difference is the RS grease has PTFE in it? PM600 is a lot cheaper.....knowing Srams skills at repackaging things and increasing the price 500% (thinking fork oil) I wont be surprised if its the same.

Can anyone confirm. Looking to use it for rear shock seals

Yes, seals only (I know you're not asking but it doesn't replace butter/slick honey)...(some manuals still say PM600)
I also use it for repacking 'non spinning' bearings like headset and coating pivot bearings or BB before replacing etc. and a big tube lasts ages.
