My 8 year old has been competing in a kids Mini Downhill Series and one of the rounds was at Fort William where there were some horrendous crashes.
I really think I need to get my son a bit more protection. I have seen some threads on this before and did a search and couldn't find anything.
Any recommendations for elbow and knee/shin pads? He has some hard elbow ones but finds them restrictive.

my son wears leatt kids 3df pads but you can get kids moto gear that offers more over body protection.

Thanks, those look good. I did think about body protection but he is one of those kids that gets annoyed with tight/uncomfy stuff.
