Looking for some lift accessed singletrack type riding, preferably with a short airport transfer to maximise riding time.

Been to the Morzine region a few times and fancy something different.

Cheers John.

Verbier (90 mins form Geneva)
Les Arcs (2.25 hrs from Lyon)

I've been thinking about exploring La Clusaz above Annecy, not as organized and developed as the riding above or Portes du Soleil etc but a very nice location with excellent restaurants. About 45 mins from Geneva.

Chamomix.

I just came back to add exactly this, it's a very good option. 60 mins from Geneva.

Chamonix's the only answer really.

Verbier's too far for a long weekend and Chamonix has great easy to find singletrack in a handy guidebook.

I've been going to Verbier for ski weekends for 20 years. Very easy.

Sestriere/Bardonecchia/Sauze d'oulx 1hr on the train from Turin

Deux alpes/Alp d'huez 45mins from Grenoble and another hour from Lyon.

There is also stuff like val d,allos/auron/pra loup that probably 1.30 max from Nice
