I'm looking for a HT to leave at my parents house for when I go on holiday, about 3-4 weeks a year.
I'll be doing 1-2h rides and also days on which I'll focus on technique: manuals, bunny hops, maybe jumps if I can build one.

I started looking at 'long, low, slack' bikes but then I realised that they might not be the best option for the job, as I'm 6ft and long legged (35"/90cm inseam), would a shorter bike be easier to manual, bunny hop etc? Or it's so subtle that any bike will do?

Was looking at Vitus Sentier, Voodoo Bizango, Parkwood etc as Stanton, Ragley, Orange cost a bit more and would be a pitty to have such a nice bike unused.

I'd say look for something with similar key dimensions to your main bike.

Ok thanks, it's an Orange Five 29, will be difficult to find a HT with such long CS!
