I thought it was my headset but when I apply the front brake I can feel play/knocking where the stantion and the fork seal meet.
Anyone else had this?
I'm thinking bushes.

Yep. Bushes.
That said, after a long conversation with TFTuned, and sending mine back to be redone, it seems that you cannot get rid of it on some of them.
It's a case, of - "Yes, they all do that, sir"
