Good for summer and at that price worth a purchase.

Or maybe ok as a rear during winter months

My summer tyre of choice, just cut up a little bit easy on the flint round here.

What tyres do you use now Leku... i.e. what are we to compare them to?

Currently High Roller 2 & Hans Damf front on Yeti 5. But these were put on for last years Alps trip. Usually riding trail centre XC.

Mates have now got full carbon bikes and I need to find a way to keep up.

That's going to be a big difference in grip.

For summer I'm going for rocket ron at the front and thunder burt on the back... this should overall have more grip than the ralphs and also faster.

but from what I can gather non of these are the most durable tyres in the world. I think snakeskin would be required unless you don't weigh very much. Also tyre pressures need to be kept reasonably high.

Very fast tyre, grips surprisingly well, not very robust. I'm a fan, normally use 2.4 and run it tubeless, and that price you won't be too crushed if they don't last as long as other tyres!
