Looking for a winter disc road bike to replace a Kinesis T2, will be used mainly for winter road riding but the occasional sportive such as Flanders and Paris/Roubaix and some light touring weekends with a pannier rack. I have a cyclocross bike already so was thinking of the Hurricane than the Tempest. Any views or thoughts would be very much appreciated?
My dad has a Hurricane and I've had a quick ride on it, it's incredibly comfortable, like a magic carpet ride, really smoothes out rough road surfaces. It's not light though, but that's not the point of it. Check the forks regularly for damage.
Thanks for the reply, is there an issue with the fork?
His broke through normal use, hopefully just a one off. They were replaced under warranty.
