Are they any cop? After a decent set without breaking the bank and they seem good value. Any real world experience and reviews?

I found the Proline 365X to be a more generous fit than I was expecting, I could have gone a size smaller. I found them much less breathable than the Holdsworth team bib shorts because of that relatively huge patch of back material, boiled a bit with both fans going if I was doing a sub 30min race or TT on the turbo, tolerable for short intervals and generally more gentle turbo rides. Don't think I've used them outdoors to date.

Got some on right now (just got back from a quick 60km on the road bike), very comfy and have lasted well. Had them since last winter, and done most of my riding in them this year, mtb & road.
They're good on their own with a jersey for summer wear and under shorts/tights for colder weather.

I'm 6ft and a 35" waist, and pretty average build. L fit me perfectly

Think they are the Clubman Light bib shorts - https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CLPXCLBS/planet-x-clubman-light-bib-shorts

Good shorts, crap pad. At least for my back side. Didn't like pad the slightest.

Loads of peeps seems to be liking them though, so don't treat my opinion as a gospel.

Cheers!
I.

Clubman 365 here in both medium and small, both very generous and material doesn't breath well.

Shorts average but pad is perfect for me.

Had some much more expensive DHB that I wouldn't rate anywhere near as highly.

My favourite shorts ever were Castelli aero but I got too fat...

I had some which I found good but I wore them out after about 6 months. Pretty heavy turbo use though.

I brought some of these for turbo use now. Did a 4 hour ride in then no problem. Wouldn’t wear them outside though as it basically says ‘dildo’ down the side.

Not a fan here, didn’t like the pad or the position of it. Tried a few different versions and gave up.
Decathlon top end range is better and not much more expensive.

Cheers guys. No gruelling training going on with them, just the nice long rides out on the HT 2/3 times a week atm and the cheap halfrauds padded shorts are no better than a thick pair of boxers. I have tried a set of the decathlon ones though I can't remember which model, and they seemed OK... Nothing I would have raved about. Any other options to look at in the mid level sub £40 range?

Anyone want to swap a pair of medium 3/4 lengths for the large pair I bought?

Tried a pair.

Uncomfortable.

Tried a pair of Wiggle/DHB.

Got on fine with these.

Actually turns out these are better than my Endura pair.

That was my finding really, OK for commuting pad was pretty poor (for my arse at least) and more than 1.5hrs in them became uncomfortable, they did seem well enough stitched together, made if quite durable materials and a "generous" fit... YMMV of course.
