Going riding with a mate next weekend, weather permitting, can anyone recommend any trails / downhill places to go? Similar to say, Lee Quarry or Delamere forest up here, if you know of those places.

Roeberrow, Still woods etc have a look on Bristolfreeride.com they list a lot of locations (not just DH)you are of course just 30 mins from Wales...... I live in Bristol but always pop over the border

Mate has van, so nothing stopping us from driving to south wales I guess.

That opens up a few more possibilities.

Still is the local DH spot and jolly good it is too (if a bit lethal in the wet). Its real name is Providence Plantation and it's over behind Ashton Court estate. Park at the community centre in Keeds Lane if you're driving over there.

totally forgot.. Gawton the new track with uplift service. Worth the drive I hear with quite a few tracks
