Anyone run a Firebird as their main bike?

Any feedback from UK users on bearing life, real world weight, best fork length to run? Etc...

Would you do it again?

Cheers

Love the 5.7 but can't help thinking I need a bit more bike sometimes. Been offered a swap on my 5.7 for a Firebird from someone looking to go the other way. Great bike but I would also consider a Blur LTC if I was you. A medium would prob be a good fit for you (read the 5.7 sizing thread again).

I have a Pivot Firebird upgraded from the 5.7 and would have to say its better climbing than the 5.7 (surprisingly. Descending on it goes like a rocket. Bearing wise on the Firebird as just the same as the 5.7, just a few more bearing wise, so about 1 year+ lifetime. I'm currently selling my Firebird as had my eye on the new YT Capra Pro since it was in developing and now out for sale so sadly having to sell my beloved Firebird.

Hope this helps.
