after 12 years faithful service my S-Works FSR 2007 model had developed a creaky rear end. The dropout pivots are very dead indeed (everything else is fine and smooth)

unfortunately removing the bolts didn't run so smoothly so now i need a pair of rear dropout pivot bolts and a set of rear pivot bearings. obviously being ancient i dont expect this to be easy but i have found plenty kits for similar vintage FSR bikes, bot not specifically this one. its a 2006/2007 model - i'm not sure if the S-Works tartyness is important for this particular pivot

CycleStore (where i bought the bike from many years ago) stock a lot of older kit, some of it "looks" similar from the web photos but when i emailed them they just said they didn't have anything for my bike
https://www.cyclestore.co.uk/specialized_suspension_frame_parts

so the question is, does anyone know of a helpful online retailer who stocks old stuff like this? or does anyone have technical details of other frames of this era that might have the same hardware that might help broaden my search?

its this frame for reference

Bearings should be easy - there'll be a number on the existing ones (6902, 608,..) and you should be able to get ones to match from any bearing supplier. There's no need for anything specific to the bike. (Certainly my 2008 Stumpjumper used to eat bearings and they were easy to source).

Bolts - this could be trickier.. they are likely specific to the bike and you might have to trawl eBay

Could try some of the Specialized Concept Stores, they're normally pretty good.

Word of warning - you may need specialist bearing pullers / presses to get the old ones out and put the new ones in. Some frames were more problematic than others and Specialized had a knack for years of using weird proprietary fittings on those FSRs. I had a similar FSR (older than that one) and while most bearings were fine, it had one particular set (pivot behind the BB) that required it's own tool.

Have you asked Specialized?

They might want you to order through a dealer but should give you the part numbers to ask for.

good tip Wzzzz, mail sent off to spesh to see if they can provide part numbers. failing that, Traceys found a full bolt kit which is overkill but better than nothing! cheers guys

I have a 2005 stumpy (not a fancy S-Works). The rear bearings for that are 688 (16mm OD x 8mm ID x 5mm Width). Pretty standard bearing for a couple of quid on ebay. 2 per side. Not sure if yours is the same but hopefully you have enough bits left to measure something. The bolt will be trickier if you want it exactly the same but I'm sure a standard bolt will work

"Traceys found a full bolt kit which is overkill but better than nothing!"

To be fair if you get a reply from Spez they more than likely say the bolt is part of bolt kit and not sold separately. And if the bike that old prob best replace all bolt and keep old as spares.

bearing wise worth looking at https://www.kineticbikebearings.com/
They do max bearings as well as normal wheel, headset etc
